Virginia Reyes

Virginia (Sein) Reyes born on June 28, 1939 in Hatillo, Puerto Rico joined Jesus in Heaven through his salvation on Saturday November 8, 2025 in Philadelphia with loved ones by her side. Virginia is survived by her husband Angel Reyes, her children Vilma Sein Reyes, Angel Reyes Jr. (Nidia) and her sister Julia Sein. She is also survived by six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and countless others who she called family. Waiting at the gates of heaven is her son Edwin Reyes, her parents Fransisco (Paco) Sein and Augustina Sein, and her sister Brigidia Sein. 

Virginia lived a life of service to the church and the community. She carried herself with humility and determination and worked relentlessly in the most dignified manner to help improve the lives of many. Her love was abundant and overflowing and we will all miss the embrace that it was to be in her presence. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 9:30 at Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal Cristo Mi Rey, 2015 American Street, Philadelphia, PA. Burial will follow at the Greenmount cemetery. 

Visitation will be on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 6:00pm at the church with a service to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Igleslia de Dios Pentecostal Cristo Mi Rey or the United Way.
