Roxana Graulau, 61, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023.
Roxana was born on December 14, 1961 to Pedro J. Graulau and Nidia R. Graulau in Coamo, Puerto Rico and moved to the U.S. at the age of three. Roxana was a proud graduate of St. Peter’s School and John W. Hallahan High School (‘79).
After graduating high school, Roxana began a long and adventurous career, with stops in food service and banking before venturing into education and childcare, which would become her lifelong passion for over 20 years. She would go on to have two children, Ronald Jr. and Rosalee, who were her pride and joy in life.
In her free time, Roxana loved shopping, dining out with family and friends, attending theater productions and art shows, and helping plan all the memorable family gatherings and holiday celebrations that the family will cherish forever. Her vibrant personality would fill rooms with smiles and happiness, and those who met her will always remember her generous and giving nature.
Roxana will be remembered for the love she had for her family, friends, and pets, including her beloved dogs Daisy, Muffy, Benji, Muttley, Princess, Chiqui, Frankie, and Prince Ronin “Ro-Ro”. She is survived by her son Ronald Jr. (Lindsey), and daughter, Rosalee (Robert), siblings Luz Eneida, Pedro Jr, and Luis Armando. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Hailey, Julian, and Briana; nieces and nephews Rossana, Nydia, â™°Luis II, Brenden; great nieces and nephews Dejah, Dasanni, Kiarah, Demarques, Tristan, Dominic, and Gavin and many cousins.
Services will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Church on December 13, 2023 at 10:00 am.
