Rosa Tavares Obituary

Rosa Herminia Tavares, age 87, passed away on February 18, 2019 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Rosa was born in San Jose de las Matas, Dominican Republic to Zoilo Tavares and Maria del Carmen Torres.

She leaves precious memories of her to be cherished by her children Agustina Tavares, Irma Tavares, Maria Rodriguez, Sixta Rodriguez, Gabino Rodriguez, Brunilda Gonzalez, Marta Rodriguez, Julio Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez, William Rodriguez, Rosario Rodriguez, Rosalba Rodriguez and Altagracia Rodriguez; siblings Fermina Tavares, Barbino Tavares, Maria Tavares, Epifania Tavares, Ricardo Tavares, Gumercindo Tavares, Claudio Tavares, Antonia Tavares and Felix Tavares. Rosa is also survived by precious grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rodriguez Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at the Cemetery of San Jose de las Matas, Dominican Republic.
