In Loving Memory of Rosa Roman

Rosa Roman, age 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Born on July1st, 1931 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.

She brought happiness and unity to the family and those around her.

Rosa leaves a legacy of strength and resilience. 

Her unwavering spirit in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Her favorite pastime was listening to lively Spanish music during the day and looking at her “Novelas” at nighttime and visiting her favorite Casino. A longtime resident of Philadelphia.

Rosa leaves behind many memories to be cherished by her children: Blanca Robles (the late Rafael Velez), Pete Robles (Vilma "Vickie" Robles), and Rosa De Leon (Antonio "Tony" De Leon, Sr.); 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great grandchild; 5 sisters Tutin, Gloria, Poli, Margarita and Lucy; 5 brothers Cacho, Wilfredo, Ramiro, Edwin and Jorge.
