Ramon Melendez Lopez

Ramon Melendez Lopez, age 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 23, 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Marcial Melendez and Petra Lopez; and raised by his step father Alberto Gonzalez.

He leaves memories to his beloved children Ramon Jr., Melissa and Jessica; sons in law Samuel Laboy and Francisco Rivera; precious grandchildren Chasily, Rayanna, Nathan, Cito and C.J.; and his siblings Aida “Yaya” Gonzalez, Sigfredo Melendez, Neco Melendez, Tina Melendez y Nano Melendez.

He was preceded in death by his wife Miriam Melendez and his brother Wilfredo “Yayo” Gonzalez.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 9 a to 10 am at the Rodriguez Funeral Home,  J Street & Erie Avenue.  He will be laid to rest at New Cathedral Cemetery.
