Norma Elsa Ayala

Norma Elsa Ayala, age 56, passed away August 2, 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Norma was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Angel Custodio Ayala and Luz Elsa Aponte.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Michelle Alicea, Melanie Cales, and José Angel Cales; siblings, Angel Luis Ayala, Maria Antonia Ayala, Carmen Milagros Ayala, Ivette Ayala, Angel Javier Ayala, Carlos Ayala, Roberto Ayala, Hector Berrios, and Rafael Berrios; grandchildren, Jonathan Soto, Karla Michelle Ortiz, Cinthia Ortiz, Leilani Lovey Brito, Elaini Cales, and Ramón Ezequiel Brito; great grandchildren, Karlianiz Sophia Ortiz, Ismael Nuñez, Eddie Jomar Soto, Ayanaliz Soto, and Joanaliz Soto.  She was preceded in death by a son, Carlos Juan Alicea, and a great grandson, Jonathan Yadiel Ortiz.

A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Rodriguez Funeral Home, J Street and Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19124, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Visitation Church, B Street & Lehigh Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19125.  

She will be laid to rest in Greenmount Cemetery.
