Nidia Rosa Graulau

Nidia Rosa Graulau, age 90, passed away on August 8, 2018.

Born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Anacleto Mateo and Octavia Alvarado.  

She was the loving wife of the late Pedro J. Graulau, Sr., who passed away May 22, 2002.   

Nidia is survived by her four children, Luz, Pedro J., Roxana, and Luis A.; a brother, Luis Antonio Mateo; grandchildren, Rossana, Nydia (Todd), Ronald “Ron” Jr., Brenden, and Rosalee (Robert); great grandchildren, Dejah, Dasani, Kiara, Demarquis, Dominic, Tristan, Gavin, and Julian.  She was preceded in death by siblings, Maria R. and Pablo Ruben Mateo, and a grandson, Luis II. 

A public viewing will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 9 a.m. followed by the celebration of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. 

She will be laid to rest in New Cathedral Cemetery.
