Nancy O'Brien Gonzalez

 Nancy O’Brien Gonzalez, age 36 of Philadelphia, PA passed away on June 2, 2020 after a hard fought battle with brain cancer.

She is the beloved wife of Raymond Gonzalez and mother to Christian (14) and Lucy (6). Cherished daughter of Nancy Durnin (nee Murphy), her step-dad John “Reds” and her father Kevin O’Brien. Adored sister of Meghan and Maureen O’Brien (Ryan McDermott) and loving aunt to her nephews Murphy, Alex and Angel. She is also survived by a large extended family and countless friends.

Nancy is a proud 2002 graduate of Little Flower Catholic H.S. For Girls.

Nancy helped raise tens of thousands of dollars to fund brain tumor research and inspired dozens of devoted friends and family to form “Team Fancy Nancy” to support her efforts.

Nancy was smart, confident and beautiful. She enjoyed vacationing with her family in the Poconos and taking day trips on pizza Sundays.

Nancy had a joyous sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was a bright light in this world.

Services are private due to the pandemic.
