Josefina Mendez

Josefina Mendez, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She was born on December 27, 1937 in Camuy, Puerto Rico to Ciprian Mendez Cortez and Marina Ramirez Cruz.

Devoted Sister of Ana Lydia Edelman, Jose “Cheito” Manuel Mendez (Linda) and Juana Diaz.  She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her siblings Obdulio and Eugenio.

Her viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 2000 Shelmire Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19152 followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

She will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery, Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
