Jose Luis Aviles, Sr., age 74, on July 19, 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico to Luis Martinez Aviles and Seferina Velez.

Beloved husband of Carmen V. Aviles; devoted father of Jose Luis Jr., Jose Luis II, Daniel Luis, Marcus, Yvette, Angela, Jasmine; brother of Maria Cristina, Carmen Rita, Milagros, Gladys, Zoraida, Justo, Hector, Placido, Vidal, Joaquin, and the late Guillermo.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Thursday from 8 am to 9 am at the Rodriguez Funeral Home,  J Street & Erie Ave, Philadelphia.

He will be laid to rest at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania.
