Jose Antonio Maldonado

José Antonio Maldonado, age 66, lovingly known as "Toñito", passed away November 27, 2019, surrounded by his family at home.

He was born September 25, 1953, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, son of Digno Maldonado Lugo, and Felicita Muniz Munoz, both deceased. 

Toñito graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School, Class of 1973. After graduation he worked at the Windsor Apartments in Center City Philadelphia until 1980 when he returned to Puerto Rico with his parents. 

Surviving are his sisters, Nelida Santiago, and Carmen Maldonado Navarro; nieces and nephews, Victor Santiago, Jr, Eric Santiago, Sonia Irwin, Nathalie A. Navarro and Julian A. Navarro. 

A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Spirit and Truth Fellowship, 4400 N. 6th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19140.
