A Life Well Lived: Jesus Manuel Caraballo
Jesus Manuel Caraballo, at the age of 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife Carmen, his daughter Sara and son in law Edwin.
Born on July 26, 1935, in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, to Mercedes Cortez and Jesus Manuel Caraballo, brother to Rufino, Antonio and Pedro Caraballo and Juana De Jesus. In 1955, he came to the United States, where short after, he met the love of his life. On February 18th, 1956, Jesus and Carmen were married. Together they have four children- Sara, Sonia, Jesus Jr (Papo) and Lisa. Jesus retired from Lipoff Meat Company after 42 years. He is best known for his coffee, his love for the Philadelphia Phillies, jokes, smile, his incredible reputation, and his love and service to our Lord. He loved his wife of 69 years, his children, and his family, and he loved spending time with his family singing and eating arroz con pollo, Sunday dinners, and his devoted love for his wife and family. Without a doubt, he received a beautiful crown, and heard the words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” And as believers, we have the blessed hope of being reunited one day. He fought the good fight, inspiring many along the way. Jesus will be deeply missed by his loved ones.
Jesus is survived by his loving wife Carmen; his children- Sara, Sonia, Jesus, and Lisa; 9 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great grandson.
