Hilda Bonilla-Figueroa was born on May 16th, 1940, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, where she lived with her parents Agueda Figueroa, Hermenegildo Bonilla, and her 10 siblings.
Hilda was a hard-working woman who spent many years working as a seamstress sewing beautiful garments.
She met the love of her life Edwin Solivan and spent 45 joy-filled years together.
She moved to Philadelphia in the mid-60s where she went on to give birth to her 2 loving children Frances Abreu and Edward Solivan; although some may say she had 3 children, a miniature schnauzer she adored named Nene.
Hilda was the life of the party a woman with a free spirit. To remember her is to remember joy, laughter, dancing and fun. May we all carry a piece of her spirit with us to brighten up our day.
