Eleanor Torres

Eleanor Torres, age 102, in Philadelphia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 27, 2025. 

Lovingly known by her immediate family as "Momanap".

She was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico to Francisco Robles and Blasina Negron.  She moved from Puerto Rico to Philadelphia at age 31. 

Beloved mother of Nereida Torres, Ivan A. Torres and Elvis Gonzales (Haydee Quintana-Gonzales); loving grandmother of Israel Antonio Torres (Marilyn Torres) and Haydee Perez-Fortunato (Paul Fortunato); precious great grandmother of Ashley Marí Torres, Anthony Israel Torres, Isaiah Antonio Torres, Natasha Reyes, Neenah Qiana Fortunato, Nyah Rose Fortunato, A'Maya Rayne Fortunato and Harmony Grayce Fortunato; and devoted sister of Ismael Robles Lopez, Iris Neida Robles Lopez, Luz Palmira "Minn" Robles Lopez, Ramon "Moncho" Robles Lopez, Margarita Robles Lopez, Monserrate Torres, Paulina Torres and Crucita Torres.  She is survived by nieces, nephews among other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by other brothers and sisters.

"Momanap" will be greatly missed by her beautiful smile, charisma, her cooking and gardening skills.
