Elsie was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Amado Vives and Antonia Perez.

Loving mother of Charles Ramirez Jr., Angel Luis Ramirez, Yolanda R. Ramirez, Abigail Rodriguez, Michael D. Rodriguez, Maria D. Rodriguez, Malinda Rodriguez and Anastasia Rodriguez; beloved sister of Margarita Rosado, Albert Ponce, Cheito Vives, Raul Ponce and the late María Ponce; precious grandmother and great grandmother.
