David Rios

David Rios, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

David was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, to the late Luis Rios and the late Dolores Ortiz.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Gladys Ortiz, Joey Ortiz and Bianca Cruz; daughters in law Joanne Ortiz and Haidy Ortiz; son in law Henry Cruz; his siblings Nelly Martinez, Ana L. Gonzalez, Lydia E. Santiago, Luis Armando Rios, Dagoberto Arce, Adalina Ramos, Mercedes Gautheir “Linda”.

David is also survived by his seven grandchildren Adrian Cruz, Anthony Rios, Jessie Rios, Samantha Rios, Alexis Rios, Xiomara Cosme and Ricardo Berks.

David was preceded in death by his child the late David Ortiz and his sibling the late Victor Arce.

His viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:00am followed by a service of comfort at the Rodriguez Funeral Home, Inc. (1101 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennslyvania 19124).

He will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery.
