Carlos Gonzalez Feliciano

Carlos Gonzalez Feliciano, age 63, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Born in Florida, Puerto Rico to the late Jose Gonzalez and the late Edicta Feliciano.

He leaves memories to be cherished by his loving wife Luz C. Serrano; children Brenda E. Gonzalez Rosario and husband Benny,  and Carlos Javier Gonzalez and his wife Marisol; his brothers Francisco “Frank” Gonzalez and his wife Shirley, and Angel Luis Gonzalez and his wife Nilda; and two grandchildren Jonathan Gonzalez and Micaella Rae Gonzalez.

Carlos retired from being a candy maker and a welder.

Carlos loved his island, hammock, grandchildren, wife and kids.  He enjoyed listening to boleros while rocking in his hammock in his favorite place on earth.  He was a gentle giant with a soft heart for stray animals and the homeless in his community.  He was his family's patriarch, hero, handyman, mechanic and just an all around jack of all trades who was always there when anyone needed him.  He loved watching old movies and was a collector of antique model cars.  An avid fan of collectible classic cars.  He loved visits with his grandchildren.
 

A public viewing will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Rodriguez Funeral Home.

Liturgical Service 11 am.

He will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery.
