Angela Gerena

Angela Gerena, age 78, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Angela was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico to Dimas Rodriguez and Emilia Ruiz. 

Angela met Rafael Gerena and married him, both were blessed with a beautiful family during their 52 years of marriage. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memories to her husband Rafael Gerena; her children Evelyn Aviles Rivera, Yolanda Garcia, Brendaliz Da Silva and Jennifer Gerena; her siblings Nilda Franco, Margarita Rodriguez, Carmen Iris Rodriguez, Dimas Rodriguez, and Hipolito Rodriguez; precious grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a dearest friend Cruz Colon. 

She was preceded in death by her son Hector Aviles; sister Ana Maria Spanodikis; and brothers Antonio Rodriguez and Jaime Rodriguez. 

A public viewing will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 9 am to 10 am at the Rodriguez Funeral Home.  She will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery.
