Alberto "Berto" Montalvo Ramos

Alberto “Berto” Montalvo, age 78, of San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1947, to Emiliano Montalvo Pitre and Gavina Ramos Rivera. Berto lived a life defined by joy, dedication, and compassion. 

He was a devoted husband to Mery Lopez and a proud father to Heriberto "Eri," Albert, and Madeline "Mady" (Ivan). Berto's legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren—Eric, Amanda, Aleesha, Alexandra, and Davian—and his great-grandchildren, Logan and Jordan. 

Known for his infectious spirit and unwavering generosity, Berto had the unique ability to make everyone feel like family. His strong work ethic, deep-rooted morals, and easygoing charm endeared him to his loved ones, making him the favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. 

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love he shared, the values he lived by, and the joyful memories he leaves behind. 

Rest easy, Berto. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew you.
