Valentin M. Perez, age 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 18, 2018 in Philadelphia, PA .

Valentin was born in Dorado, Puerto Rico to late Valentino Morales Perez and the late Maria Luisa Perez.

Loving long time companion of 22 years Perlie Mae Thomas; beloved father of Carmen M. Perez-Potts (Naim Potts), Mary Greene, Antonio "Tony" Greene, Ashley Plant, Gina Perez, Latosha Perez and Tyreek Perez. He is one of many siblings Martin, Julio, Carmen, Luis, Matilda, Nicolas. Also survived by his loving 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his friend Joyce Poulson, a host of nieces and nephew, cousins and dear friends..

He was preceded in death by his siblings Jose, Avelino, Alicia, Angelo, Candida and Margareta.

His viewing will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Rodriguez Funeral Home.

A home going celebration service will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Helena Fontes at 7:30 pm.
