Ramon Concepcion was born on July 8, 1928 in the city of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. He was the son to Toribio Concepcion and Ramona Lopez.
He was lovingly known as “Padrino”. He loved the children and was always making sure they had everything they could need. He enjoyed dancing, singing the “Parandas” and playing dominoes.
Ramon liked to travel and spend lots of time in his homeland; Puerto Rico.
Ramon was very friendly and liked to spend time with his friends at the “Gallery” chatting and having a good time.
At age 85, he passed away on December 21, 2013 in the city of Philadelphia leaving great memories to his children Louise Sands, Stephen Blíshak, Donna Berrios, Angela Martinez and Mary Ann “Chi-Chi” Martinez; his sons in law David Sands and Eric Berrios; his daughter in law Lisa Blishak; his brother Valentin Rodriguez; his grand children, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both his parents and his sister Margarita Concepción.
He will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery.
