Rafael Lafontaine Perez, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in Guayama, Puerto Rico.

Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Lafontaine and the late Dolores Perez.

Beloved father of Rafael Lafontaine and Mable Lebo; father in law to Ounika Lafontaine and Bill Lebo; brother of Carmencita Lafontaine, Roberto Lafontaine, Ernesto Lafontaine, Reinaldo Lafontaine, Rosaida Figueroa, Bolivar Lafontaine, Benjamin Lafontaine and Antonio Lafontaine; and beloved grandfather of Lena Lafontaine.

Rafael was preceded in death by his wife Maria Serrano Lafontaine and his brother Juan Lafontaine Jr.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Rodriguez Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Final Viewing on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 9:00 am followed by a Liturgical Service at 10:00 am.  Graveside service 11:45 am at St. Mark Cemetery, Bristol, Pennsylvania, where he will be laid to rest.
