Pedro Cortes

Pedro Cortes, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in Philadelphia, PA. 

He was born in Moca, Puerto Rico to Flores Cortes and Carla Gonzalez. 

He was the devoted husband of Isaura Cortes.

Pedro will be lovingly remembered by his children, Nora (Angel) Ferrer, Doris (Eric) Bou, Daisy Cortes, Mickey Cortes, and Elena Cortes (Richard Almonte); siblings, Segundina Cortes, Bonifacio Cortes, and Anastasia Cortes; grandchildren, Angela Ferrer, Wilkin Ferrer, Pedro Ferrer Esq., Diamonique Ferrer, David Cruz, Erica Bou, Sophia Bou, Stephanie Hernandez, Wilfredo Hernandez Jr., Tristen Almonte, Caiden Almonte; great grandchildren, Raul Velez Jr., Anarelis Velez, Xavier Velez, Destiny Ferrer, Lilliana Ferrer, Melody Ferrer, Camila Ferrer, David Cruz Jr., and Chase Benjamin Rodriguez.

A public viewing will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by a service of comfort at 10 a.m. at the Rodriguez Funeral Home, J Street and Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19124. 

He will be placed to rest in Oakland Cemetery.
