Narciso "Berto" Melendez Rodriguez Obituary

Narciso Melendez Rodriguez, lovingly known as “Berto”, age 79, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Berto was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico to Genaro Melendez and Ana Maria Rodriguez.

He leaves memories to be cherished by his wife Andrea Zayas; children Marilyn, Yolanda, Raul, Ana Maria, Yahaira, Jose G. and Jose M.; siblings Virgen, Benjamin, Jose M. “Chelo” and Nelly; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 9 am to 10 am at the Rodriguez Funeral Home, J Street & Erie Avenue.

He will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery of Philadelphia.
