Monserrate "Monsita" Garcia Obituary

Mrs. Monserrate Garcia, age 73, passed away on February 5, 2019 in Brooklyn, New York.

Monserrate was born in Morovis Puerto Rico to Jose Garcia and Rafaela Melendez.

She is survived by her children Francisco Matos, Maria Matos, Ivette Garcia and Francisco “Papito” Matos; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Service of Comfort at Rodriguez Funeral Home, 1101 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Monserrate will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery.
