Maria N. Cruz

Maria Nydia Cruz, age 59, passed away on June 1, 2019 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Maria was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico.

She leaves memories to her loving husband Juan B. Alicea; her beloved parents Modesto Cruz and Isabel Alicea; devoted children Juan Alex Alicea and Richard Alicea; daughter in law Alisha Bellmon; precious grandchildren Alexiss Alicea, Denise Alicea, Juan Alicea, Laella Alicea and Richard Jenx Alicea; and her siblings Elba Cruz, Modesto Cruz, Yolanda Cruz, Zoraida Cruz, Elizabeth Cruz and Maria Cruz.

She was preceded in death by her son Juan Alberto Alicea.  

A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Rodriguez Funeral Home.

A service of the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Rodriguez Funeral Home by Rev. Blas Caceres.

She will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery of Philadelphia.
