Lonnie David Murchison, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He was born in South Carolina to John Arthur Murchison Sr. and Oressie Mrchison (nee Briggman).

Loving husband of Sylvia Murchison (nee Falu); beloved father of Michael, Shawn, Erika, Steven (Ruz Carina) and Jessica; devoted brother of Rosa Mae Brooks, Gloria A. King, Regina A. Gray, Linda L. Thomas, Frankie Murchison, Barbara King, the late John A. Murchison, Jr., the late David Lee Murchison, Sr., and the late Samuel Murchison; precious grandfather and great grandfather.

His viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am at the Church Of Praise & Worship, 643 West Hunting Park Avenue Phila PA 19140. A Home Going Service will be celebrated at 11:00am.

He will be laid to rest at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania.
