Julia Alvarez

Julia Alvarez, age 88, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

 She was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to the late Teodoro Rosa and the late Petrona Correa.

Julia will be lovingly remembered by her children Ramona Perez, Miguel Alvarez, Irma Alvarez, Maria Alvarez, Freddy Alvarez, Alberto Alvarez, Leo Delgado; her siblings Manuel Rosa and Luciano Rosa; many precious grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 Julia was preceded in death by her children: Jimmy Alvarez and Rosa Delgado; her siblings Tomas Rosa, Concepcion Rosa, Mercedes Martinez, Natividad Rosa, Domingo Rosa, and Perfecto Rosa.

Her viewing will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by a service of comfort at the Rodriguez Funeral Home (1101 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19124).  She will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery.
