Juana Marrero

Juana Marrero, age 87, passed away on January 2, 2019 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Juana was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico to Fundador Rosario and Margara Peña.

Loving Wife of the late Flor Z. Marrero, beloved mother of Margarita Zayas (Manuel), Maria J. Diaz (José), Neida Martinez (Juan), Flor Marrero Jr., Minerva Rivera( Jaimie) and Emily Zayas. She is one of 15 siblings, Josefa, Georgina, Teodora, Amparo, Edelmiro, Hortensia, Cely, Efrain, Genoveva, Andrea, Nelly, Miguel Jr., Cristobal and Margarita.  She is also survived  by grandchilden and great grandchildren.                                                                                  

A viewing will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Rodriguez Funeral Home. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Holy Innocents Church 10:00 am.

She will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery.
