Jose Gonzalez Candelaria

Jose Gonzalez Candelaria, age 87, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Jose was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Teodosio Gonzalez and  Leopolda Candelaria.

Beloved father of Jose Manuel Gonzalez, Anibal Gonzalez, Alida Rosa Carrasquillo, Ada Luz Gonzalez, Adalberto Gonzalez and the late Raul Silva.   He leaves precious memories of him to be cherished by his loving his siblings; precious grandchildren Miguel Angel Carrasquillo Jr., Angel Carrasquillo, Christina Carrasquillo and Betzaida Silva; great grandchildren; Jonathan Alicea, Angel Omar Carrasquillo, Aiden McCue, Betzaida Silva and Alida Solimar Carrasquillo; among other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, September 13, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Rodriguez Funeral Home, J Street & Erie Avenue.

He will be laid to rest in Greenmount Cemetery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
