Iris M. Castro, lovely knows as “Titi Mirta”, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017, In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 

Iris M. Castro was born December 16, 1952, in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, to Mr. Jose Pereira and Mrs. Delia Rosa Morales.

 

Mrs. Castro together with her beloved husband founded, Amparo de la Niñez (Children Safe Harbor), a non-profit organization for after school program Christian based teaching with various activities for children.  

 

She leaves precious memories to her loving husband Felipe Castro; beloved children Irving, Delimerllie and Nelving Castro; her precious mother Delia Rosa Morales vda. de Pereira; grandchildren  Nel Xavier Castro, Azaria Nelany Castro, Romell Ramos, Luis A. Lopez Jr., Examier Lopez, Jowell Lopez, Jacob Valentin Castro, Natalie Valentin Castro, Salma Inez Castro and Dalisa Faith Castro; her sisters Luz Delia and Myrta Yanira Rosa; son in law Luis A. Lopez; daughter in law Ann F. Castro; brother in law Ervin Rodriguez among other relatives, and dear friends.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to her public viewing on Friday, October, 20, 2017 at the First Christian Missionary Church (Primera Iglesia Christiana Misionera), 4236 Whitaker Avenue, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm,

and Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 9 am to 10 am.

 

She will be placed to rest at Greenmount Cemetery of Philadelphia, PA.
