Carmen Maria Santaella, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Carmen Maria was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico to Virgilio Lopez and Maria Esther Villegas.

Loving wife of Daniel Santaella Rivera; devoted  mother of Marilyn Gruninger (James), Daniel Santaella III Kimberly D.), and Melissa B. Lopez (Ricardo Lopez); beloved sister of Carmen Delia, Carmen Lydia and Virgilio; and precious grandmother of Jose Gruninger, Daysha Santaella, Justin Gruninger, Danisha Santaella, Yomarie Santaella, Ashley Santaella, Isabel Lopez, Alex Lopez, Lianna Nunez, Brandon Lopez, Daniel Santaella IV and the late Ezell Santaella.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, September 9th, 2019  at the Rodriguez Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am following a service of comfort.

She will be laid to rest at Magnolia Cemetery.
