Carmen M. Santiago

Carmen M. Santiago, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17, 2019 surrounded by her loving family in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Carmen was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Ricardo Roman and Maria Toledo.

She moved from Puerto Rico to NY in the late 1950’s, then to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she made her home until the day of her passing.

She leaves precious memories to her husband Amador Santiago; their children Carmen M. Bonfanti, Carmelo J. Santiago, Miriam Santiago an Erasmo Santiago; her siblings Iris Montijo, Jose Luis “Cheo” Roman, Jose “Pepe” Roman, Juan Roman, Francisco Roman, and Ismael Roman; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons Amador Santiago, Jr, Hiram David Santiago and Armando Santiago; and her sisters Julia Roman, Ana Roman and Santa Roman.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 10 am following a Liturgical Service  11 am at Rodriguez Funeral Home, 1101 East Erie Ave, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She will be place to rest at Greenmount Cemetery.
