Carmen A. Ramos

Carmen A. Ramos, age 76, passed away on October 4, 2019 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Carmen was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico to Santos Alicea Cruz and Juana Ortiz Rodriguez.

Devoted mother of  Carmen Rodriguez, Evelyn Rivera, Eneida Perez, Madeline Torres and Elizabeth Vidro; mother in law of Wilfredo Rodriguez Sr., Felix Rivera and Wilson Perez; beloved sister of Saturnila, Rosa, Josefa, Mrs. Monserrate, Fermina, Luz Maria and Ramon;  precious grandmother of Wilfredo, Senovia, Monique, Felix Jr., Wilson Jr., Vanessa, Mark Jr., Rafael Colon, Cianni Marie, Aryous, Sasha Marie and Luis III; great grandmother of Samuel, Jose, Elvin Jr., Daniel, Samuel, Jose, Bryce, Zayden, Jayla, Azalea, Anthony and Leahna; and great-great grandmother of Leylanie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ramon L. Ramos; her loving son Wilfredo Ramos; her grandsons Alex and Andew; her twin sister Lydia and two brothers Jacinto and Marcelo.

Carmen’s viewing will be held on Thursday, October 10,  2019  from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm  and Friday, October 11, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Rodriguez Funeral Home, J Street & Erie Ave, followed by a Funeral Mass  at  11:00 am at Visitation BVM Church, B Street & Lehigh Avenue.

She will be laid to rest with her late husband Ramon Ramos at Oakland Cemetery.
