Brian Joseph Smith

Brian Joseph Smith, age 50, of Mullica Hill, New Jersey passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, August 17, 2017.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Albert and Dolores Eileen (nee Maximo) Smith.

Brian devoted his life to serving others as registered nurse at Children Hospital of Philadelphia for 27 years and brought joy to many hearts as a dedicated member of the Polish American String Band and a loyal member of North Catholic Alumni.

As a supportive father and husband Brian was sure to be present at family and social gatherings with Melanie and the boys as they involved each other at events with family and their many loyal friends.

He leaves precious memories to his loving wife Melanie (nee Zintner); his beloved children Brian and Gavin; his sisters Lisa Fedorick (Joe) and Karen Ann Schneider (Ed); his brother Greg (Annemarie); his mother and father in law Anna Zintner-Leso and Lare Leso; brothers in law Scott Zintner (Melissa) and Joel Zintner (Kristin); and many nieces and nephews.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Dolores “Dee Dee”.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 9 am to 11 am at St Joseph Church, 51 Broad Street, Woodstown, New Jersey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am.

He will be laid to rest at St Mary’s Cemetery, Cape May, New Jersey.
