Ana Margarita Camacho, lovingly known as “Margo” and “Doña Ana”.
She was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico and resided in Cataño, Puerto Rico.
As a young adult she moved from Puerto Rico to New York where she worked at Coney Island Hospital.
Later on she and her family moved to Philadelphia where she continue working in a Commercial Refrigeration Company.
Doña Ana was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 840 for about 30 years. She enjoyed volunteering in various activities of the Unit as well as the Latin American Post 840 to which her late husband Osvaldo Miranda was a member as well.
She will always be remembered by her good food; seeing her cruising Philadelphia with her best friend, playing lottery and gambling at the Casino’s. She loved to visit friends, eat out, celebrate birthdays and holidays, play dominoes and cards while listening to her favorite music.
At age 91, in the morning of Friday, March 29, 2019, Ana passed away leaving behind footprints of love and kindness.
Ana was preceded in death by her husband and her two children.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 5th, 2019 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Friday, April 6th, 2019 from 8 am to 9 am at the Rodriguez Funeral Home, Inc.
Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am Holy Innocents Church.
She will be laid to rest at Greenmount Cemetery of Philadelphia.
